Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Primary Tasks And Duties

Acknowledge patients Verify up-to-date address, phone, and insurance information with patient Enter new patient information Schedule and reschedule patient follow-ups per the provider's request Answer patient questions Maintain a clean waiting room Collect copays and account balances Enter payments collected Answer phones as needed Respond to voicemails Faxing, scanning, and copying documents Process weekly timesheets from therapists and file as required Maintain patient insurance authorizations, obtaining weekly Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm $17.00-$20.00 hourly

Skills And Experience

RESUME REQUIRED

Experience working in an outpatient medical practice required
Experience with Athena - Electronic Medical Record preferred
