Job Title: Manufacturing Technician II MoldingLocation/Division Specific Information:Santa Clara, CA / LEDHow Will You Make an ImpactThe Manufacturing technician performs a wide variety of moderately technical Mold Set-Up s, Kitting and Cutting Machine Operations as well as Operating Hydraulic Press Machines along with other computerized equipment. Responsibilities include Lay-Up of Molds, Operating Presses precision components using a variety of specialized automated or non-automated equipment. We encourage all members to participate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI) to continually improve our process. A Day in the Life: Prepare materials for molding process Layup molding materials on molding tooling based on the standard procedure Tooling set up for press machine Operate the Equipment (Press, Autoclave, etc.) Inspect final productEducation:High school diploma or equivalent required.Job Title: Manufacturing Technician II - MoldingExperience: Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: We require ability to speak, read, understand and write English Experience Requirements: Previous experience with use of small hand tools Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following all personal and environmental safety guidelines. Works in teams to accomplish overall plant goals regarding safety, efficiency, quality, and customer expectation Skills for maintaining detailed records Be an excellent teammate!Physical Requirements / Work Environment Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds individually and occasionally lift greater than 50 pounds with assistance of a hoist, lift, etc., to safely position, move, and stack, production items. Ability to maneuver assembly components by hand in a repetitive manner conducive to efficiency, job specifications, safety, and quality goals. Ability to frequently stand, bend, kneel, stretch, reach, lift, sit repetitively to accomplish assembly production goals using eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity while intermittently being exposed to noise, fumes, dust and dirt during assembly of products.
