Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $2260 per week.

Shift: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Operating Room experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years experience required in OR, trauma.

Unit Details: General surgery OR. Technical OR role responsible for supplying equipment and instrumentation for specific surgeries, maintaining the sterility of the surgical field, anticipating surgeon needs, passing instruments, assisting with suction/retraction/electrocautery/irrigation/dressings, and preparing instrumentation and equipment for the next case. Patient population includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon, Fri, Sat, and Sun. No call. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. Schedule varies based upon department needs. Flexible hours and overtime may be required.

Floating Requirements: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
