Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $28.50 per hour
Location: Local Routes Only

Local Truck Driver Job Details

Home daily with no overnight routes
Overtime paid after 40 hours worked
Automatic transmission trucks
Warehouse-to-warehouse deliveries
Make 3-5 stops per day
Load and unload using lift gate, pallet jack, and forklift
Consistent routes and predictable scheduling
Stable, long-term local truck driving assignment

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local truck driving routes
Deliver and transport freight between warehouse locations
Load and unload freight using provided equipment
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain all required DOT documentation
Ensure freight is secured and delivered safely
Adhere to all company safety policies and DOT regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams

CDL Class A Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Current Medical Card
Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years
Acceptable MVR and accident history
Strong and consistent work history
Commitment to safe driving practices
Ability to load and unload freight as required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift gates
Previous warehouse distribution or local truck driving experience
Strong attention to safety, customer service, and professionalism
