Location: Phoenix, AZ (Arrowhead)
Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Availability: Open availability required (including weekends and holidays)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cook to join our hospital food services team. This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold meals in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to food safety, quality, and providing excellent service to patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, portion, cook, and present meals for:
- Breakfast
- Lunch
- Dinner
- Special and catered events
Follow standard recipes and dietary guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Assist with inventory, stocking, and proper food storage
Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Valid Food Handler's Card (required)
Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Previous cooking or food service experience preferred, especially in healthcare or high-volume settings
