License: MLT, MT, or MLS certification through ASCP or AMT

Certifications: BLS (AHA) Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via ASCP Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via ASCP Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via AMT

Must-Have: Experience working independently on the graveyard shift Proficiency in all areas of the lab, including blood bank Familiarity with LIS systems such as Epic and Wellsky

Description: The position requires coverage in all areas of the laboratory. Candidates must be generalists. Phlebotomy is not required for this role. The schedule does not allow for self-scheduling and is fixed for 6 weeks. Weekend and holiday shifts are required. Potential for call or standby call requirement exists. Dress code is flexible, allowing for either scrubs or business casual attire. Department-specific orientation is provided. The facility reserves the right to cancel a limited number of shifts during the assignment. Charting is done through the EPIC system. This position does not require a BSN.
