Consumer Protection Litigation and Compliance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Consumer Protection Litigation and Compliance Associate in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have three to six years of litigation experience, with a focus on consumer class actions and familiarity with relevant laws and regulations. Duties Handle discovery and litigation discovery disputes. Take and defend depositions. Conduct witness interviews. Draft and argue pleadings and motions. Manage cases on a day-to-day basis. Requirements Three to six years of experience in litigation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong legal research and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Bar membership in good standing in the practicing jurisdiction. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar membership in good standing. Skills Strong advocacy and problem-solving capabilities. Enthusiasm for team collaboration. Ability to learn new topics quickly.
