Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Certified Surgical Technologist
Seeking a certified surgical technologist with experience in Labor & Delivery. The role involves preparing supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for surgical cases. The surgical technician must anticipate needs in the surgical field while passing instruments. Assisting the surgical team in all procedures is essential. The technician is responsible for case clean-up, positioning patients, moving patients, and room turnover. Knowledge of the surgical procedure is crucial to meet the needs of the surgical team.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of scrubbing experience in Labor & Delivery required.
Certifications: NBSTSA Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required. BLS Certification required.
Must-Have: Certified Surgical Technologist with experience in Labor & Delivery where cesarean sections are a primary procedure. High School diploma or equivalency required. Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or certification or degree from an accredited nursing program required. Good communication skills.
