Boiler Plant Operator SupervisorMajor duties include, but not limited to:Directly supervise Boiler Plant Operators, Air Conditioning Equipment Operators at various grade levels.Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technical and administrative tasks involving boiler, heating, ventilation air conditioning and operations repair for all employees in the Operations Section.Responsible for maintenance, repair, modification, renovation and new construction of various building or plant components.Provide general instructions, standard operating procedures, sets overall priorities and policies to accomplish quantity and quality of work.Review work for efficient and economical accomplishment with priorities.Maintain adequate stock of materials needed for a 24 hour operations worksite.Develop, implement and monitor routine and non-routine maintenance programs.Advise leadership of issues that affect the Operations section or the hospital.Ensure compliance with designated policies, procedures and standards related to operations, environmental and personal health and safety.Contact vendors and construct scope of work documents to ensure all projects are completed properly.Review and monitor contractors performance to ensure work is done and confirm completed to contract drawings and specifications.Occasionally acts on behalf of higher management, in their absence.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm Position Description Title/PD#: Boiler Plant Operator Supervisor/PD03956O Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not authorized
