• Friday through Sunday

Key Qualifications:

• Current, valid Louisiana laboratory license required
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Proven experience in clinical laboratory settings; familiarity with general lab instrumentation and procedures
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts as well as collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests and analyze samples with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment following established protocols
• Record, verify, and communicate test results to relevant medical staff in a timely and confidential manner
• Perform quality control procedures to ensure reliability of laboratory data
• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements to promote a safe, compliant work environment
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve discrepancies in test results
