Program Manager
The Program Manager will work with Card Data Now in conjunction with our Enterprise and Card partners to deliver data-related initiatives that support the strategic outcome of the business. They will facilitate meetings, establish milestones and track issues, risks and dependencies for the team. The Program Manager will possess excellent communications skills as they will provide regular status updates and will need to share insights gained from their project to help shape the delivery model to scale across the organization. An ideal candidate would be able to help guide cross-functional resources for timely project completion and be comfortable presenting to senior leaders and decision makers.
Responsibilities:
- Own develop and execute project and corresponding roadmap to drive Program strategy.
- Continually iterate in partnership with the agile team assigned to ensure successful project delivery.
- Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and success metrics.
- Drive ceremonies to help cross-functional teams plan coordinate and execute.
- Coordinate within and across portfolios to align efforts to desired program outcomes.
- Work with teams to develop solutions to remove obstacles blocking program/project success.
- Ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout the product's life cycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with program/project stakeholders and leadership of cross-functional teams.
- Surface data-backed insights to program/project stakeholders and teams to drive decision-making and facilitate tradeoff discussions.
- Report and communicate to senior leadership on program/project status
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-3 year's experience with project management systems.
- Strong understanding of Agile and traditional project management principles and methodologies.
- Ability to quickly understand the technical details of projects to help resources drive next steps.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Solid history of working with cross-functional teams to take projects from inception to launch
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years' experience as a program manager delivering data focused projects working directly with software engineering teams.
- Proven track record of delivering projects across heavily matrix organizations.
