Assume a lead role among support staff within the pharmacy. Relieves the Pharmacist of duties related to the intake of new prescription information and the handling of Schedule II controlled substances per MA Board of Pharmacy regulations.Location: 111 Grossman Drive Braintree, MA 02184Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/week. Will be working an 8-hr shift during Site Operating Hours of: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 8:00pm, with rotating Saturday/Sunday rotation 9:00am - 5:00pmPrimary Responsibilities:Support pharmacists by processing prescriptions, entering data, and preparing medications including compounding and labelingDeliver excellent customer service during medication pick-up, payment processing, and counseling offersManage inventory, receive and inspect shipments, price and store medications, and restock clinical areasAdminister vaccines, report safety events, and contribute to quality improvement and departmental initiativesCollaborate effectively with the pharmacy team, uphold compliance with regulations, and maintain required certificationsMay be required to travel to other sites if neededYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDNationally Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB, CPhT, or NHA or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employmentActive and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of MassachusettsCertified in Immunization Administration by an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education ('ACPE') accredited training program or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employmentAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experienceAccess to reliable transportationPreferred Qualification:2+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy or outpatient pharmacy settingPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment.
