Purchasing Clerk

SALARY RANGE - This position pays $21.00-22.00/hour. The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for storing materials from receiving in the warehouse. Essential Functions Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life. Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort. Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag. Issues supplies upon receipt of approved requisition. Delivers materials as required. Aids in taking inventory of all materials. Prepares and maintains reports and records as required. Operates company vehicles as assigned. Keeps storeroom clean and orderly at all times. Acts as a role model to other employees Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Responsible for receiving and unloading items. Delivering supplies and packages to designated locations. Operating fork lift to move supplies. Assisting with inventory control by following SOP’s. Ensure the safety and security of company, team members, and property guests while performing job duties. Properly utilizes company's procurement system on daily basis. Abide by all resort policies and safety rules. Perform other duties as requested by management. Qualifications Must have good mathematical and clerical aptitude. Six months previous warehouse experience is desired. Must be 18 to drive a golf cart. Must complete mandatory forklift training. Work Conditions and Schedule Weekend and holiday availability is required as well as flexibility with work schedule. The scope of the position may sometimes require a work week over 40 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This role requires operating a golf cart. Must be able to reach below and above shoulders while performing duties. Must be able to operate a pallet jack, weigh scale, pull carts and dollies filled with items weighing up to and/or over 100 pounds. Must be able to drive a golf cart.
