They will work collaboratively as part of a team of talented and dedicated school and Performing Arts Department faculty members. A strong background in the major elementary general music methodologies (Orff, Kodaly) for grades Kindergarten to sixth grade, singing, and elementary-level repertoire and materials is essential. The successful candidate will exhibit dynamic interpersonal skills to motivate and engage students, maintain and enhance enthusiastic participation in music making in a safe, supportive, and student-centered environment. Responsibilities of the position include teaching general music classes for students in grades K-6. Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education licensure in Music PK-12 OR K-9.
