Allied - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Respiratory TherapistThe Respiratory Therapist will provide care and treatment for patients requiring respiratory support. The role involves working in various units, including adult general and critical care as well as the NICU. The therapist must demonstrate expertise in managing respiratory needs and be adaptable to different patient populations.This position encompasses all patient types throughout the hospital, focusing on adult critical care and NICU cases.Required Certifications: BLS, NRP (for NICU); ACLS/APLS preferred.Minimum of 2 years in respiratory therapy, preferably with Cerner or EPIC EMR experience.RRT preferred, CRT candidates with requisite experience will also be considered.Patient ratios will adjust based on staffing levels, ensuring adequate care for all patients.New travelers or those returning after a gap of 1 year will receive 24 hours of classroom training followed by 24 hours of practical experience on the unit.Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend.Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy.Scrub Color: Any color except bright or neon colors.Free parking available in a designated parking deck.
