DIRECTOR OF SALES & EVENTS 

LEAD THE SALES STRATEGY FOR ONE OF OKLAHOMA'S MOST DISTINCTIVE BOUTIQUE HOTELS

We're seeking an experienced, energetic, and relationship-driven Director of Sales & Events  to lead revenue generation for our 80-room upscale boutique hotel located 5 blocks from the Oklahoma State University campus and featuring a full-service restaurant, lounge, and memorable guest experiences.

This is an opportunity to join the leadership team of a family owned and operated unique hotel and help continue to establish it as a destination for business travel, university events, weddings, social gatherings, and leisure guests. Work with a James Beard Award winning Executive Chef leading the Food & Beverage area providing opportunities for creative and exciting special events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute the hotel's overall sales and marketing strategy.
• Generate corporate, group, SMERF, university, sports, and leisure business.
• Build strong relationships with local businesses, Oklahoma State University, event planners, and community organizations.
• Prospect new accounts while maintaining existing client relationships.
• Negotiate group contracts and oversee event sales from inquiry through execution.
• Work closely with the General Manager, Revenue Management, and Food & Beverage teams to maximize occupancy and profitability.
• Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and community functions.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Five or more years of hotel sales experience, with at least three years in a leadership role.
• Experience with Marriott or another major hotel brand preferred.
• Proven success generating group, corporate, and event business.
• Strong networking, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with hotel sales software and CRM platforms.
• Self-motivated, organized, and passionate about exceptional guest experiences.
