Job Title: Operating Room RN (CVOR) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: - 2+ years in cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience - 1 year of CVOR experience - 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility License: - Valid RN license required Certifications: - BLS - NIH Must-Have: - Scrub experience required Description: CVOR RN Scrub only position available. This role involves working 40 hours per week. The schedule consists of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts. Candidates should have 2+ years of cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience. A minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience is required. Experience in a Level I Trauma facility is essential. Scrub experience is mandatory. Candidates must be familiar with the EPIC charting system. Primary responsibilities include assisting with cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries. Common procedures involve Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), valve repairs, and more. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and effective communication skills are essential for this role. Candidates must comply with all health and safety protocols. This position may require occasional floating to other units as needed. Professional references are required prior to hiring.
