A family in Brookhaven is seeking an experienced, confident, and nurturing nanny to support their household. The role will primarily focus on caring for their almost 3-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son, while also assisting with newborn care once the family's newest baby returns home from the NICU. Their daughter is bright, imaginative, and enjoys creative play such as art, reading, and outdoor activities. She thrives with a caregiver who is engaging, positive, and genuinely warm. Their son is an easygoing and happy child who is currently working on gross motor and feeding milestones, attending physical therapy weekly and feeding therapy biweekly. The ideal candidate will be attentive to developmental needs, open to supporting therapy goals, and comfortable managing routines for multiple young children. The schedule will align with the daughter’s part-time school schedule (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.), and responsibilities will include maintaining feeding and sleep routines, supporting developmental milestones, planning enriching activities, and providing a loving, structured environment.

In addition to childcare, this role requires a proactive and organized individual who can serve as a true partner to the family during this transitional season. Duties include children's laundry, light housekeeping, meal preparation, bottle washing, organizing children's spaces, running errands such as grocery shopping, and helping keep the home tidy and functional. The family values a nanny who brings positive energy, is intuitive and self-sufficient, and does not require micromanagement. Experience with newborn care, including sleep routines and feeding support, is highly preferred, and a background in child development or therapy is a plus. The family is Christian and welcomes someone respectful of their values. A safe, attentive approach is essential, including awareness of mom's tree nut allergy.
