We are currently seeking a Marketing Cloud Consultant to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Role: Marketing Cloud Consultant

Experience: 5+ years hands-on with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)

Role summary

Own the design, build, and optimization of multi-channel journeys on Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You’ll translate marketing strategies into scalable, compliant, and measurable campaigns while mentoring developers and partnering closely with marketing, CRM, and data teams.

Responsibilities

• Design & implement customer journeys using  Journey Builder ,  Automation Studio ,  Email/Mobile/Advertising/CloudPages .
• Develop dynamic content and integrations with  AMPscript ,  SSJS , and  SQL (data extensions, queries, segmentation).
• Model audience data in  Contact Builder/Data Designer ; manage keys, relationships, and preference centers.
• Build and secure integrations ( REST/SOAP APIs , Marketing Cloud Connect to Sales/Service Cloud, SFTP/ETL pipelines).
• Establish deliverability, compliance, and privacy best practices (e.g.,  CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA ), including sender reputation and consent management.
• Implement tracking, attribution, and reporting (UTM strategy, Einstein/Intelligence Reports, Data Views).
• Lead code reviews, performance tuning, release planning, and CI/CD (e.g., Git, Copado/Gearset).
• Estimate work, groom backlogs, and contribute to Agile ceremonies; document solutions and coach junior teammates.
• Partner with stakeholders to convert briefed campaigns into well-defined technical designs and runbooks.

Required qualifications

• Proven expertise across SFMC Studios/Builders and data architecture for large-scale programs.
• Strong  AMPscript ,  SSJS ,  SQL ; comfort with API tools (e.g., Postman) and JSON.
• Experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM or other systems (identity, ecommerce, data lakes/CDPs).
• Working knowledge of email/mobile deliverability, template systems, and asset management.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, source control, environment strategy, and QA/automation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in an Agile context.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g.,  Marketing Cloud Developer ,  Email Specialist ,  Administrator ,  Platform Developer I ).

Nice to have

• Experience with  Distributed Marketing ,  Package Manager ,  Interaction Studio/Personalization , or  Data Cloud .
• Familiarity with analytics/BI (GA4, Tableau, Power BI) and experimentation frameworks (A/B, holdouts).
• Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience.
