We’re hiring a Maintenance Director to lead facility upkeep with care and precision in a skilled nursing setting that values teamwork, compassion, and respect. What You’ll Do: Maintenance Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance on building, grounds, and equipment Handle routine repairs: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations Support a clean, functional, and safe environment for residents and staff Transportation Oversight: Schedule and coordinate resident transportation for medical appointments and outings Ensure vehicles are maintained, safe, and in good working condition Supervise transportation staff and maintain accurate trip records Housekeeping Oversight: Supervise housekeeping team and ensure cleanliness standards are upheld Monitor inventory and order housekeeping supplies as needed Develop cleaning schedules and train staff on proper sanitation procedures Ensure compliance with infection control and health regulations What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or GED 2+ years of maintenance experience (healthcare setting preferred) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, climbing, and bending What We Offer: Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Daily pay option (access your earnings when you need them) Paid time off and overtime pay Supportive leadership and opportunities for growth Employee assistance fund and PTO donation options Our team is proud to serve the Durango community with long-term care, short-term rehab, memory care, wound care, and more.
