Procurement Coordinator

About This Role As the Procurement Coordinator you are responsible for supporting and managing the end-to-end purchasing process within an organization. This role ensures that goods, services, and supplies are sourced, ordered, and delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining compliance with company policies and procurement standards. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED. 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field. Preferences Proven experience processing and tracking purchase orders (POs) Strong experience communicating directly with vendors and suppliers Ability to accurately maintain and update procurement records and databases Experience performing invoice matching and reconciliation Experience supporting sourcing activities such as gathering supplier information and comparing quotes Working knowledge of ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Special Requirements Background checks, which may include, but are not limited to, criminal history checks, credit history checks, education verification checks, license verification checks, and/or fingerprinting, may be required as posted in the job advertisement. Effective October 2012, mandated by the Virginia state Board of Health 12vac5-31-540, VA EMS regulations require a criminal background check conducted by the central crime records exchange and the National Crime Information Center via Virginia State Police, and a driving record transcript from the individual’s state department of motor vehicles. Work Schedule This is a non-exempt, 37.50-hour-per-week, Monday-Friday position, with normal working hours between 8 am and 4:30 pm. Some telework is available with the supervisor's approval.
