As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Rio Oso CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related this active role you will support access awareness provide strong customer service and communication and contribute to a caring team culture built on agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points verify credentials as directed by site policies and report suspicious behavior hazards and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
• Support site operations by communicating with employees visitors and/or contractors providing directions and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
