Electronic Technician

Worker Type Regular Job Description AV is expanding and we're looking for an Electronic Technician to join our team! Our office is located in Leesburg, VA where we provide highly competitive drone detection technologies and services to our government, law enforcement, and commercial customers. Our products provide customers with unique advantages over their adversaries. AV is continually innovating to preserve these advantages. Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Constructs, maintains, and tests moderate electrical systems and components.
• Uses measuring and diagnostics tools to test and modify electronic parts.
• Receives instruction on specific objects.
• Receives direction on complex problems and possible solutions.
• Possess effective oral and written communications skills.
• May assist with communications pertaining specific assignments or meetings.
• Possibility of up to 10% traveling.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent military experience.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Surface Mount Technology (SMT) soldering experience.
• Effective knowledge of Schematic Capture and PCB layout software.
• Excellent soldering skills.
• Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and

scientific method. * Working knowledge of Supply Chain operations and associated management systems. * Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering/technical specialization.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
