The Opportunity As an Assistant Manager, you will be a key leader in the shop, helping to run daily operations, coach the team, and make sure every guest has a great experience. This is a hands-on role where you will lead by example, work side-by-side with your team, and take ownership when the Shop Manager is away. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and support scoopers and shift leads so they can deliver great service every shift. Oversee daily operations, including cash handling, inventory, scheduling, and opening/closing procedures. Set the tone for outstanding guest service and coach the team to handle busy periods with energy and professionalism. Support your team's growth through regular feedback, on-the-job training, and positive accountability. Assist with community events and shop performance goals, and confidently run the shop when the Shop Manager is away. What Success Looks Like Within your first few months, you can independently run a shift from open to close, maintaining smooth operations and strong guest reviews. The team looks to you as a reliable, positive leader who communicates clearly and handles issues before they become problems. Shop goals for service, cleanliness, and accuracy are consistently met during your shifts. You actively contribute ideas to improve scheduling, training, or operations, and take on more responsibility as you grow toward a Shop Manager role. What We're Looking For Previous leadership or supervisory experience; food service or retail experience is a plus. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, positive, and accountable, with a track record of showing up and following through. A growth mindset and genuine desire to help others succeed while developing your own leadership skills.
