Maintenance Technician

Evening Shift 7p-7a; Rotating Schedule

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing and replacing equipment, fixtures, and systems
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
• Respond to maintenance requests from various departments or tenants in a timely manner
• Fabricate or modify parts as needed to ensure proper functioning of equipment
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
• Supervise and coordinate the work of other maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with tenants or other stakeholders

Experience:

• Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a commercial or residential setting
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and installations
• Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and tracking
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong leadership abilities to effectively supervise and coordinate a team
