Position Overview

This is a full-time Sales Representative career opportunity with Kevin Kaufer State Farm in Vadnais Heights, MN for someone who wants to build a long-term sales career in the insurance industry. You will receive structured training, hands-on coaching, and a clear path from your first policy to running your own book of business.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships through consultative conversations about coverage needs
• Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals
• Participate in product training and licensing coursework
• Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline records in the agency system

You Will Do Well Here If You

• Keep going after a no — most policies are written on the third or fourth contact
• Want to be measured on quotes written and policies bound
• Like knowing exactly where you stand against a number every week

• Are uncomfortable talking about money or asking for the sale

Qualifications

• Prior sales, retail, or customer-facing experience preferred — insurance training and licensing provided
• Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses
• Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude
• Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
• Self-motivated and comfortable with consistent outreach and follow-up

Pay range: $70,000-$80,000 per year

This range reflects expected total earnings — base salary plus commission and bonus — for a team member meeting sales production targets. Commission is not capped.
