Java Developer

Role Description

As a Junior Java Engineer, you will work with a team of experienced engineers to develop, test, and support Java-based microservices using Spring Boot. This role is ideal for someone looking to strengthen their software development skills in a cloud environment while contributing to production-ready systems.

• Develop and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Assist in designing and implementing scalable and reliable features.
• Troubleshoot and provide support for existing services under guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and peers to deliver high-quality software.
• Learn and apply best practices for cloud-based application development.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Java development using Spring Boot.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts is a plus (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• General understanding of version control (Git).

• Nice to Have:
• Exposure to Docker or containerized environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud services (Google BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, etc.).
