Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiovascular care as a Travel RN in a CVOR setting, supporting surgical procedures and patient management in a high-volume hospital environment. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preoperative assessments and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Assist during surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and providing necessary instruments.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in clinical status.
• Administer medications and interventions as directed by physicians and protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain detailed clinical records.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure procedural success.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of recent cardiovascular surgery experience.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Demonstrate proficiency in CVOR procedures and related clinical skills.
• Possess strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including call shifts and weekends.
• Experience working in a fast-paced surgical environment preferred.
