Retail Service Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $17.81 - $24.40 per hour. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Responsibilities Support Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. Assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Lead store team members to provide excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, ensuring adherence to programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot. Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy. Process all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure, using the electronic outside purchase order ledger. Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and politely, issue refunds accurately, and stage returned merchandise in the returns area correctly. Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before it leaves the store. Communicate Zipline messages, image maker tasks, and merchandising tasks and delegate and complete them as assigned. Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule, obtain approvals for deviations, and clock in/out per company policy. Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, verifying and securing money and deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring night security lights are on, locking doors, arming/disarming security alarms, and securing delivery vehicles. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong communication skills. Ability to obtain RSS Certification. Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts. Automotive systems and repair knowledge. ASE Certification. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired). Benefits Competitive wages and paid time off.
