Title : Procurement Specialist

Location : San Diego, CA

Compensation : $30/hr. - $33.50/hr. (~ $62,000 - $70,000 annual)

OVERVIEW

Insight Global is seeking an entry-level Procurement Specialist in San Diego, CA or Costa Mesa, CA! This role is with a large engineering client and would be supporting administrative tasks for all purchasing activities across Project and Internal Support departments.

This role requires on site work Monday through Friday at either the San Diego or Costa Mesa location. The offered pay range will be between $30/hr. - $33.50/hr. and determined based on individual education, experience, and related skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• Issue subcontracts, equipment Purchase Orders, and/or material Purchase Orders within proper programs (JDE, IFS, GP, etc.)
• Review invoices and verify prices against Purchase Orders and backup documentation
• Process Purchase Orders and Change Orders
• Maintain and update vendor lists
• Maintain professional communication and overall relationships with vendors throughout negotiation and all other vendor interaction

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of experience supporting purchasing or procurement activities
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience processing invoices, purchase orders, and/or change orders
