Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Billing Specialist to support freight billing and logistics operations within a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for reviewing carrier freight bills, resolving billing discrepancies, and coordinating with internal teams and transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate customer billing.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in billing, logistics, transportation operations, accounts receivable/payable, or freight coordination .

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze freight and carrier billing documentation
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, duplicate charges, and open issues
• Communicate with internal departments and external transportation providers to support accurate billing
• Ensure customer billing issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner
• Support order billing processes and maintain service quality standards
• Coordinate documentation required for freight and customer billing
• Assist with process improvements to increase billing efficiency and accuracy
• Utilize internal systems and Microsoft Office tools to manage daily operations

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in:
  • Billing
  • Accounts receivable/payable
  • Audit support
  • Transportation/logistics operations
  • Load planning
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or related field
• Experience within transportation, freight, or supply chain environments
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced operational setting
