Sr. Data Analyst, Supplier Performance

With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.Position Purpose:The Sr. Data Analyst, Supplier Performance will focus on developing analytical processes, tools, and strategy to support the team's goal to create and maintain automation tools to enable faster and more efficient products and provide greater insight into supplier KPIs. The role requires considerable analytical and technical skills, and the ability to effectively describe those processes to leadership. The individual will work cross-functionally with business partners from Supply Chain, Product Management, IT, Finance, Operations, and Merchandising to translate operational processes and business questions into rule-based analytics.Key Responsibilities:50% Design, implement and measure pricing actions to understand the trade-off between units, sales and gross margin. Utilize learnings to help merchants reach financial objectives20% Conduct research to become subject matter expert on a specific segment of pricing and statistical analysis10% Work across the organization and leverage cross functional teams to provide expert analytical support (i.e. domestic logistics or global supply chain costs20% Develop and deliver influential presentations that summarize complex analyses and drive effective business decisionsDirect Manager/Direct Reports:This position reports to Manager.This position has 0 direct reports.Travel Requirements:Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Physical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
