Account Manager

Presidio

Presidio Account Manager is a sales position engaging customers and technology partners to drive business growth. This role focuses on nurturing existing client relationships and prospecting new opportunities, ensuring smooth delivery and strong account management practices. Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Account Growth: develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying upsell/cross‑sell opportunities. Prospecting New Business: identify and engage prospective customers in target industries, develop new business leads, and convert prospects into long‑term clients. Sales Strategy Execution: develop and execute account plans aligned with sales targets and customers’ business objectives, collaborating with internal teams to leverage resources and technology solutions. Operational Command: maintain operational understanding of accounts, ensuring seamless delivery, tracking performance metrics, forecasting revenue, and analyzing account health. Collaboration with Partners: build and maintain relationships with Presidio’s technology partners (AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) to create joint go‑to‑market strategies and drive value to customers. Achieve & Exceed Quotas: meet or exceed assigned revenue targets and customer engagement goals through proactive relationship management and consultative selling. Required Skills and Professional Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience. 3‑5 years of sales experience in the technology industry, with experience working with technology partners and leveraging those relationships to drive joint sales opportunities. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with a focus on customer retention and new business development. Strong operational skills: ability to manage multiple accounts with focus on efficiency, forecasting, and account health tracking. Ability to provide in‑depth customer technology roadmaps and collaborate with inside Account Managers to uncover new sales opportunities. Development of partnerships with Vendor Field Sales Representatives and optimization of joint selling opportunities within the territory. Use of monthly forecasting and pipeline management to manage sales growth. Preferred Skills and Professional Experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships at all levels of the customer organization. Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field. Highly motivated and results‑driven, with a passion for building relationships and delivering customer success. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Problem‑solving mindset with focus on delivering tailored solutions to customer challenges. High‑performing Account Managers who have demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles, achieve sales goals, and articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
