Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their families regarding respiratory disease processes and intervention procedures.
- Accept reassignment to other units as necessary.
- Share clinical knowledge with staff and students, serving as a role model for clinical practice.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care.
- Deliver respiratory care as ordered by a physician while maintaining communication with the medical and nursing staff.
