Web Applications Developer

Role Description

This critical role consults with business stakeholders and other project members to mold the New Wave Group vision into web-based solutions to increase revenue & optimize internal productivity. Success in the role requires demonstrated aptitude in these core competencies:

• C#
• SQL
• HTML
• Javascript (React)
• CSS
• Azure Dev Ops (Pipelines, Functions)
• Event Based Architecture

A successful developer would also demonstrate creativity, discipline & judgment in planning & estimating work to accomplish deadlines on time and within budget. Work will usually be project-based but ongoing maintenance is some percentage of the job up to and including hotfixes. The ideal candidate will also be able to show some documentation of their prior work and be able to outline their strategies for testing.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in the core stack:
• React (component architecture, state management, API integration)
• ASP.NET Core / C# / .NET
• MSSQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
• Azure Functions and Azure WebJobs
• Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, work items)
• Event-based and message-driven architecture patterns
• Experience with ecommerce platforms, headless commerce, or B2C/B2B web applications
• Familiarity with third-party integrations — payment processors, PIM, ERP, or CMS platforms
• Strong understanding of REST
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills while focusing on scalability
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Hardware and software troubleshooting capabilities
