Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Stroke Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Stroke Unit during night shift hours
• Assess, monitor, and document neurological status and stroke-related patient conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility's electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida state RN license or multistate (Compact) RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
• Demonstrated stroke unit experience (must be reflected in submission)
• AHCA compliance required for all Florida-based travel assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Stroke setting
• Familiarity with acute stroke protocols and neurological assessment tools
