Job Title: Med/surg-Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: Full-time Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days - Skills checklist - References - Certification card - Nursys license verification Description: We are seeking a Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 10-bed unit. This unit focuses on the admission of general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting surgery. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. This is a rapid admission unit, therefore the patient load will turn over faster than a typical medical/surgical unit. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 5:1 for medical/surgical registered nurses.
