Clinical Teacher (Registered Nurse)

Position: Clinical Teacher Location: FLTCC Salary Range: $24.72 - $35.29 per hour based on experience and demonstrated abilities. Start Date: September 01, 2026 Responsibilities Work with a diverse population of students. Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning. Collaborate with colleagues and provide resources to meet student learning needs. Record and report student progress. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of professional nursing techniques and relation to medicalsurgical practices. Ability to supervise the administration of nursing measures prescribed. Minimum Qualifications Candidate must hold current NYS Registered Nurse License. Bachelor’s degree. Demonstrate five (5) or more years’ experience as a Registered Nurse. Hold or demonstrate ability to hold NYSED Adult Education Certification. Preference Given to Candidates With BSN degree. Teaching experience. Three (3) or more years of medical surgical nursing experience. Two (2) or more years of caring for the elderly and/or chronically ill. Required Skills and Competencies Knowledge of curriculum content and accepted methods of instruction. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
