Tim’s Collision is looking for a reliable and motivated Estimator / Front Desk team member to join our collision repair shop. This is a great opportunity for someone with minimal automotive or collision industry experience who is interested in learning and growing with our company.

Training will be provided to help the right candidate develop their estimating, parts, customer service, and shop coordination skills.

Main Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with the initial check-in process.
• Prepare initial repair estimates and document vehicle damage.
• Take and upload vehicle photos and customer/insurance information.
• Communicate with customers regarding repair status and next steps.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and tracking parts .
• Communicate with technicians, management, insurance companies, and parts vendors.
• Help schedule repairs, vehicle drop-offs, and customer pickups.
• Assist with dropping off and picking up customer and fleet vehicles when needed.
• Coordinate vehicle transportation between customers, vendors, and the shop as needed.
• Update repair files and maintain accurate information in the estimating/management system.
• Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and customer questions.
• Help keep the front office organized and provide professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimal experience is acceptable ; some automotive, collision repair, estimating, parts, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn estimating software.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Dependable, professional, and willing to learn.
• Basic understanding of vehicle parts or collision repair is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record are required due to vehicle pickup and drop-off responsibilities.
• We can provide training for the right candidate.

Position Overview

This position is a combination of front desk/customer service, initial estimating, parts coordination, repair communication, and vehicle pickup/drop-off . We are looking for someone who is flexible, willing to help with different aspects of the operation, and interested in learning the collision repair business.

There is an opportunity to grow into a stronger estimating or management role as experience and knowledge develop.
