Senior Field Service Representative Location: Fort Cavazos, TX, 76544 Job ID: 114587 The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state‑of‑the‑art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services. Job Summary Leonardo DRS Land Electronics is seeking an experienced, cleared Field Service Representative to support Leonardo DRS Direct Support Electrical System Test Set (DSESTS) products, services and sustainment efforts. This role reports to our facility in Huntsville, Alabama, with duty performed in Texas at the Fort Hood installation. Responsibilities include the installation, maintenance, testing, training and operation of electrical, mechanical and software components and assemblies associated with DSESTS systems, including LRUs, Test Program Sets and Security Enhanced Maintenance Support Devices (SE‑MSD). The selected candidate must be able to support DRS equipment in operational environments such as depots, training sites and customer field operations by providing training, operational support and repair services. Job Responsibilities Support Leonardo DRS technology and equipment in operating environments at depots, training sites and customer field operations with training, operation and repair. Support all field service activities around the globe when required. Setup and support demonstrations of Leonardo DRS hardware, software and vehicle platforms products. Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required. Participate in preparation of proposals for DRS products sales and services. Provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel from a field environment perspective. Develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of individual ingenuity, creativity and innovativeness. May lead and direct the work of others as assigned. Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the Leonardo DRS organization. Basic Qualifications Associate’s degree in a related technical field with five years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced electrical theory knowledge. Ability to read and understand schematics, identifying basic and advanced circuits. Utilize legacy and advanced test equipment to perform troubleshooting. Demonstrate basic personal and electrical safety. Understand the steps required to prevent damage to electronics due to electrostatic discharge. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Familiar with the Microsoft suite of computer software: Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with a strong degree of interpersonal skills. Ability to work within an inclusive team environment. Ability to obtain a passport. Ability to travel to remote CONUS and OCONUS customer locations is required, and long‑term deployments (three months or more) will be required. Advanced Qualifications Advanced understanding of and experience in the application of line replaceable units (LRU) test systems. Advanced understanding of and experience in electrical and data interface standards and protocols. Advanced understanding of and experience in operations of the M1 Abrams and Bradley family of vehicles. Ability to obtain a Common Access (CAC) card. Ability to obtain a security clearance.
