Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years in High Risk Labor and Delivery or Antepartum License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS NRP Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: High Risk Obstetrical Experience (Labor & Delivery or Antepartum) 2+ Years of Hospital Experience BLS NRP AWHONN Description: MUST HAVE L&D/ANTEPARTUM EXPERIENCE The unit specializes in obstetric care. Candidates should have experience managing high acuity patients. Documentation systems used include Meditech and CPIN (Primary). Shifts will be scheduled to fill vacancies. Holiday requirements will be discussed during the interview. Floating may be required as needed. Experience with Magnesium Sulfate management and preterm labor management is preferred. Unit guidelines include a dress code that requires clean and healthy scrubs with no artificial nails. Hair must be neat and clean, with long hair pulled back. Body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings, other than ear piercings, are prohibited. This is a newly renovated Women’s Services Unit.
