Summary

The Soda Fountain Clerk is responsible for providing incredible service to all Vincent’s customers and for serving food, beverages, or desserts to customers in a timely manner. The Soda Fountain Clerk is also responsible for properly and accurately handling all monies. Our store is located on Kiawah Island in Freshfields Village.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Serves food, beverages, or desserts to customers

Rings up all sales on cash register, properly and accurately handling money, checks and other types of payment received for products sold.

Provides prompt, courteous customer service

Performs housecleaning duties necessary to maintain store cleanliness and basic upkeep and/or cleaning of all equipment in the store

Assists in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits

Controls merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses

Performs all duties with a minimal supervision, and may be required to work irregular hours, attend job-related meetings, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

No experience necessary

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Ability to perform the essential duties as outlined above

Ability to work successfully in a team environment

Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

This position is primarily indoors. Employee may be exposed to intermittent indoor cold temperatures when working in cooler or freezer.

M-F 9am-8pm

Sat 9am-8pm

CLOSED Sunday

Need daytime availability Mon-Fri (10:30a - 4p)
