Working across product, engineering, business development, logistics, and operations, the Maritime team develops, tests, deploys, and sustains the Anduril maritime capabilities in a challenging operational environment worldwide. As a leader in the Maritime Division, you must be a technical leader with the expertise to evaluate, qualify, manage, and advocate for an increasing number of sophisticated parallel pursuits. This role is crucial in ensuring that each initiative aligns with the company's strategic direction and receives the appropriate resourcing, balancing innovation with practical execution to drive the business line's success.
ABOUT THE JOB
You will own logistics for a fleet of maritime autonomous vehicles. Reporting to the Support System Lead, you will build logistics architecture covering transport, storage, and pierside support. You will plan for fleet-scale operations that move vehicles between manufacturing, storage, test sites, and operational deployment locations worldwide.Your spectrum of support will be diverse in nature and require you to leverage your technical expertise as well as leadership skills to set objectives, build cross-functional teams, and rapidly drive to completion. The ability to leverage your intuition and prior experience will be key in making sure the right design, analysis, and test steps are completed to ensure success. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience executing and successfully completing prior highly optimized multi-disciplinary projects. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own logistics architecture: transport, storage, and pierside support Develop fleet logistics plans covering vehicle movement, spares, and consumables Define transport solutions for large autonomous vehicles (road, rail, sea lift) Own storage facility requirements: environmental controls, security, and maintenance access Establish pierside support infrastructure for vehicle turnaround Develop supply chain requirements for logistics support equipment Lead and mentor IC2/3 engineers across logistics sub-disciplines Interface with Production, Deployment, Maintenance, and customer logistics organizations Support proposal efforts with logistics cost and schedule estimates Travel up to 25% to operational and customer sites WHAT YOU'LL AUTHOR AND OWNPlans you will author: Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) -- master sustainment document Supply Support Plan -- provisioning approach and sparing philosophy Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) Plan Disposal / Demilitarization Plan Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS) Plan Analyses you will author or own: Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) -- repair-vs.-discard decisions, repair-site assignment Sparing analysis and Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) — utilizing Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) data to recommend spares lists with high confidence levels Supportability case / supportability assessment -- SRR / PDR / CDR / TRR gate reviews Analyses you will partner on, contributing the maintenance and logistics view: Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) -- with Maintenance Engineering Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis -- with RAM and Maintenance Engineering FMECA -- you contribute the maintenance and logistics consequences; the RAM / Reliability owner authors the base failure-mode analysis Manpower & Personnel Integration (MPT) analysis -- with HSI / manpower analyst Operating & Support (O&S) cost estimate -- you provide sustainment inputs; program cost analyst authors the rollup Analysis you will consume and be accountable to: RAM predictions (MTBF, MTTR, Ao, Am rollups) -- authored by the RAM Engineer; you are accountable that allocations support the program's sustainment KPPs REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or equivalent 5+ years of experience in military or defense logistics, fleet management, or maritime operations Experience developing logistics support plans for complex systems Familiarity with DOTMLPF or equivalent capability development frameworks Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with maritime or naval logistics Working knowledge of autonomous vehicle or robotic fleet logistics Experience with logistics information systems and fleet tracking Familiarity with US Navy logistics and sustainment processes Experience in defense or maritime robotics US Salary Range$166,000—$220,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
