Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services-from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults-all designed to keep our community healthy.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

• Performing history and physical examinations.
• Ordering diagnostic tests based on assessments.
• Developing treatment plans, prescribing drugs, and other therapies, as needed.
• Making referrals, as necessary.
• Consulting with supervising medical provider, when appropriate.
• Counseling patients and families regarding care.
• Reviewing and responding to referrals from within and outside the clinic.
• Precept and evaluate physician assistant students rotating through the Emergency Department.

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant education program.
• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $134,405* - $178,115* based on 40-hour work week.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $147,845** - $195,926**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:
