Hospice Registered Nurse - 8 Hour Days
Location: Clarksburg, WV
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Registered Nurse with at least one year of hospice experience. The RN will provide care for terminally ill patients in their homes or nursing facilities, managing a caseload of 5-6 visits per day within a designated area covering Harrison, Barbour, Upshur, Lewis, Taylor, Doddridge, and Wetzel counties.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with terminal illnesses.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Administer medications and manage symptoms.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records using EPIC EMR.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1 year of hospice experience.
- Current BLS certification (AHA).
- Active RN license in West Virginia.
