As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide individualized, hands-on therapy and support patients in reaching their rehabilitation goals.This is a great opportunity for a compassionate PTA who enjoys one-on-one patient care, flexibility, and making a meaningful impact in the community.Responsibilities:Assist physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans for patients with various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation under the supervision of a physical therapist.Monitor and document patient responses to treatment, reporting progress and any concerns to the supervising physical therapist.Educate patients and their families on exercises, proper use of assistive devices, and strategies to prevent injury or re-injury.Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and in good working order.Requirements:Successful completion of accredited physical therapy program and state licensure exam.Valid Physical Therapy Assstant licenseValid state driver's license1 year of home health experience preferredAHA CPR certificationValid Driver's LicenseValid Auto InsuranceHomeCare HomeBase experience preferredPhysical Demands:Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, crawl, squat, or kneel for extended periods.Must be able to lift, carry, pull, or push up to 100 lbs.Perks:401k You're eligible after 3 months of service/The plan is 100% fully vested immediately /Choice Health At Home contributes 100% of the first 3% you contribute each pay period
