TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87109!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 3 years preferred License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP (pending certifications acceptable) Must-Have: Previous charge experience, 2 patient ratio experience Description: The registered nurse will work in the labor and delivery unit. Night shifts are available. The role involves caring for patients during labor and delivery. The nurse will assist with high-risk deliveries and vaginal deliveries. Experience with circulating for C-sections and recovering C-section patients is required. Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring is essential. The position includes managing antepartum care and anticoagulation therapy. The nurse will engage in triaging obstetrical patients. A commitment to maintaining isolation precautions and using personal protective equipment is necessary. The expected patient ratio is 2 patients at a time. Weekend shifts are required, with 4-6 shifts per 6 weeks. The unit has a daily census that includes neonates and adults. The environment is supportive, with interdisciplinary teams available. The nurse will be expected to float to similar units based on facility needs.
