Investment Banking Analyst (Corporate Finance)

Position Overview Hilco Corporate Finance (HCF) is the investment banking platform of Hilco Global. HCF specializes in providing special situation and restructuring, capital advisory, and M&A advisory services to middle market companies. Analysts are integral to the team and will participate in every stage of client matters, from early business development to transaction closing. The role is based full time in either the Chicago or New York City office. Responsibilities Significant role in preparing transaction‑related documentation and marketing materials, including confidential information memoranda, pitch books, teasers, and management presentations. Prepare and manage virtual data rooms and coordinate client and third‑party due diligence. Perform in‑depth company and industry research supporting specific client engagements and marketing opportunities. Demonstrate superior quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and analysis. Demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail. Participate in business development training and coaching to position the analyst for long‑term success. Qualifications At least 6 months of full‑time investment banking transactions‑related work experience. Undergraduate degree with a strong academic track record. Superior organizational and time‑management skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, problem‑solving, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills. Demonstrated maturity, integrity, and the ability to perform in an entrepreneurial environment, both individually and as a team player. Strong financial modeling, valuation, research, and financial analysis skills. Proficiency with financial research tools and MS Office. FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licensed will be required. Ability to travel as needed. Compensation & Benefits Annual base salary gross: $90,000 – 110,000. The base pay is one component of Hilco’s total compensation package and may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
