Clinical Specialist – Michigan Remote, United States Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to consistently achieve and exceed annual sales quota. Build, support, and expand relationships with strategic cochlear implanting centers. Identify and capture new business opportunities through strategic sales planning and market analysis. Use sales planning and reporting systems as directed, including SFDC, pre‑call planning, territory business plans, account business plans, customer business reviews, and post‑call and weekly reviews with line manager. Manage time appropriately to ensure maximum coverage within territory with a focus on proactive sales activities. Provide on‑site clinical support during surgery and for patient fitting and device programming at cochlear implant centers. Support other clinical issues involving cochlear implants, such as candidacy criteria, assessment procedures, difficult case management, integrity testing, and clinical studies. Qualifications Education – Required: Master’s or Au.D. degree in Audiology (or related field). Certification – Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC‑A) or ABA certification. Experience – Required: Minimum of 1 year of clinical audiology experience with both adult and pediatric cochlear implant patients. Sales Exposure – Preferred: Comfort learning and applying sales techniques to support growth at implant centers. Clinical Knowledge – Required: Familiarity with behavioral and objective measures for implant candidacy and outcomes; awareness of competitive technology. Technical Expertise – Preferred: Experience with electrophysiological testing (e.g., ESRT/Neural Response) and fitting or troubleshooting external equipment and software. Communication – Required: Ability and willingness to present publicly; proficiency with Microsoft Office/engineering software. Additional Requirements Must pass the Advanced Bionics competency exam with a score of 90%. A minimum of 200 Mb/sec download and 10 Mb/sec upload internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova. Pay & Commission This role's pay range is between $78,000.00 per year. The role is also commission eligible.
