Job Title: Commercial Carpenter

• Job Description: Perform commercial carpentry work including steel stud framing, ceilings, doors, windows, glass installation, and finish carpentry. Read blueprints and deliver quality work on construction and renovation projects
• Responsibilities: Install steel stud framing, ceilings, doors, windows, and glass.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Measure, cut, fit, and install materials accurately.
• Complete finish carpentry work to high standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Maintain productivity, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Required Skills: Commercial carpentry experience.
• Steel stud framing and finish carpentry expertise.
• Experience with ceilings, doors, windows, and glass installation.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Work Environment Commercial construction sites across NYC and Long Island. Standard hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30-4:00 p.m. with overtime available. PPE required at all times.

This is a Contract position based out of West Hempstead, NY.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in West Hempstead,NY.
